Riverside Historical Home- Just Closed Escrow

Riverside Historical Home $252,500- Just Closed Escrow

I recently sold this great 1925 Craftsman style home in the "Downtown Historical District" of Riverside. One of the unique things about this home was that it was located in the 'first block' of the city when created in 1925. I was excited to be the listing agent of the sale of this great older home which had been well taken care of, remodeled and had a lot of major upgrades plus you could tell it was well loved.

When we talk about curb appeal, we usually mean green grass, flowers, welcome mat and nice paint. Now this house didn't have flowers but had a nice lawn and a green hedge but what made it so special was the walkway up to the steps leading to the wide covered porch and the two prominent posts out front. I personally love this Craftsman style and I can imagine a swing must have been on the porch and some lounging chairs overlooking the orange groves in front spanning for miles. What a site that must have been for the owners and their guests.
