My Winter Business Plan for a Good 2014
This is the time I am usually tired and ready for a short vacation but not this year. Business has been good and steady but I am not tired. I must make time for my friends and family this December but I still have to get my listings sold and closed and of course take any new listings that I get plus find homes for all the buyers I have.
But I have a plan to stimulate my business for 2014 and 'double' my closed sales that I had in 2013.
1. Reach out to my past clients and prospective buyers.
2. Send holiday cards by snail mail with a Christmas Newsletter enclosed.
3. Remember to give closing gifts for the escrows that have just closed.
4. Deliver Gifts for the kids of my clients.
5. Update all my websites and make sure all the links are working.
6. Have an open house every weekend until Christmas and possibly New Years to pick up new clients.
7. Do more Market Reports on ActiveRain- I am not a fan of reports but they do create calls and emails.
8, I have 3 listings with big 36 X 24 Signs so hopefully I will get calls to list more homes.
9. Go on the AR Meet-up that is happening next weekend. I am truly excited.
10. Continue to blog on ActiveRain as it is good for SEO and I truly enjoy it plus I learn a lot of new ideas from other members.
11. Send text messages to my clients. On Thanksgiving I sent them out to all my friends, family and clients (both past and present). See the little turkey photo that I texted.
12. Send postcards out to all the streets where I just closed homes in the past two months (5).
13. Go to more seminars and attend more webinars to gain more education and skills.
14. This is the big one- I am buying a new computer. I am getting an Apple laptop as I adore my iPad so I am sure I will be happy with it and it weighs so much less than my current 17" laptop. I am really excited.
15. I am starting a new and longer walking routine now. I currently walk 1-2 miles and want to get back up to 6 miles daily.
16. The Power of Positive Thinking- I am going to list and sell more homes next year by Farming, Door Knocking (not), advertising and sending post cards advertising all the homes I have sold this year.
17. Go back to journaling to stay on track. My title rep gave me a large black book so I can write what I do every day.
18. I am going to do better at remembering Birthdays and other special occasions of my clients. I used to belong to 'Birthday Reminders' and 'Jacquie Lawson' and send e-cards so I am going to start this again.
