Purple Anemones - Great Plant to Put in Your Yard

Purple Anemones .....a Great Plant to Put in Your Yard

Purple Anemonies is a Great Plant to Put in Your Yard

Purple Flowers

We have had some really cold weather this winter and these plants have continued to grow and not freeze even in the snow one morning in January. Most of my other plants did freeze  so this seems to be a really hearty plant. And the blooms are beautiful and remind me of pinwheels.

It is amazing how fast they grow and the flowers are beautiful. They remind me of pinwheels.

I am worried about many of my plants and whether they will have survived the below freezing temps we had. I will soon find out.

Hi Debbie Reynolds

I lost one of my Hibiscus plants last year to frost and was so sad. I had become attached to them but planted another one quickly but it is not quite as big yet. Last month we had snow for a day and two of my Honey Suckle plants froze but one returned at the root so I am nursing it back in a small pot. I know my hummingbirds will be happy when it blooms again. Hope your plants survive. My mother was from Tennessee and told me she used to always plant Geraniums as they would come back after the snow melted.
